Following four very successful years with HERO, Jeremy Dickson has decided to step down from his role as Events Director with effect from 31st December 2016. Jeremy joined HERO when the Classic Rally Association was merged with HERO.
In the last four years, the combined organisation has gone from strength to strength with increased entry numbers on all events and the re running of the Royal Automobile Club 1000 Mile Trial which has not only won the IHMA Rally of the Year Award twice but also the FIA Founding Members Heritage Cup. In the last year, the Rally of the Tests has also gone on to become the RAC Rally of the Tests.
HERO are now in a strong position as Europe’s leading classic rally organisation. Jeremy will continue to do consultancy work for HERO in the coming months whilst the organising team is restructured. No doubt we will call on Jeremy’s expertise in the future and we wish to thank him for his contribution to HERO and for believing in the better combined platform and benefit that this would bring to classic car enthusiasts. Going forward, we will be working together on common projects, Please join us in wishing Jeremy well for the future.
