Following the postponement of the Winter Challenge, the HERO-ERA team have decided to continue the Per Ardua Ad Infinitum model with a competitive one and a half day event based in the south west. Starting at lunchtime on the Friday and going into the evening, crews will get the chance to experience competition in the dark (sadly missed in 2020).

The team are working with local contacts to deliver an event with a number of Regularities and Tests for the Friday afternoon / evening with cars arriving back at the Taunton base from 20:30. Saturday will see a full day of competition using some new and well established venues before returning to Taunton late afternoon.

Crews will be supplied with a comprehensive Map Book and will receive daily handouts. This means that the Per Ardua Ad Infinitum model will be a combination of Le Jog and RAC Rally of the Tests with crews having time to plot the route before the start of each leg together with some handouts throughout the day.

Please note that this event does not include accommodation. You can book this directly with the Holiday Inn, Taunton.

UPDATE 31/12/20:

Following the recent announcements by the Government with severe restrictions in place for an indefinite period, we have made the decision to postpone this event until the 5^th /6 ^th March. By then we hope to see an easing of restrictions allowing us to run the event as currently planned, in a similar safe and responsible manner we have done in 2020.
