Land's End - John O'Groats
Considered by crews as one of the most demanding and challenging events in Europe and a definite to be ticked on your “must do” events list! HERO’s Land’s End to John O’Groats Reliability Trial is open to cars of a specification built before 1986. Running in December, tough conditions are to be expected, but no-one crosses the finish line without a smile on their face. The event has been tackled and completed by novice crews in the past, however, we would recommend undertaking less advanced events as a preparatory measure prior to competing on Le Jog.

An early start straight into the opening Test around Land’s End. The initial cars tackle the cliff route in the dark before making their way to the first Regularity. Swift progress will be made up through South-West England to cross the Severn Bridge in good time for the evening halt so that crews can prepare for a long night of truly classic sections through Wales.
The traditional Saturday night through the challenging lanes of Wales usually shakes up the crews a bit before the very welcome bed in the early hours of the morning and a few hours sleep.
A customary ‘LE JOG Sunday’ over the moors and fells and onto a full night’s rest closer to the Border will prepare crews for the gruelling journey up through Scotland.
Another prompt start as we venture into Scotland will enable crews to see more of this beautiful country in daylight as the route visits classic sections and traditional locations.
Crews begin to battle through the final sections of the event and then cross over the finish line in John O'Groats to the strains of the piper and the wave of the chequered flag.

The event Package does not include accommodation on the Friday or Tuesday nights, Crews are required to book these themselves.
The event runs through Monday night so no accommodation is required.
