A Novice Trial brought to you by The HERO Training Academy
Designed to walk you through the process of tackling a Classic Car Rally with a series of Classroom and ‘on the road’ sessions. You will be taken through each session with experienced current competitors guiding you through each part and explaining the dos and don’ts.
The event starts on the Friday evening (17:00) with an optional session, for the first-timers, where the first steps are explained and signing on take place (or Saturday morning). Saturday morning session will go through setting your trip, using ‘Tulips’ before a working lunch and learning about Timing, Maps & Accumulative. The afternoon will see you tackle two Regularities with the team on hand to point out your errors, explain the right way to do it, before retiring for a debrief and a one to one in the bar area.
On the Sunday there will be a stand-alone mini rally. Cars will be seeded from the results of Saturdays two Regularities and joined by other crews who have perhaps done the HERO training previously or only one or two events and require some more practise.
To allow flexibility we have not included accommodation in the package. Crews are free to book what suits them in the surrounding area of Oswestry.
