HERO Bespoke

A Classic Experience

Crafting Your Day

Tailor made private or
corporate classic car events

HERO is proud to be associated with some of the most prestigious classic car rallies. We also have extensive experience of organising private events, and delivering these successfully for discerning clients is every bit as satisfying.

We know that when an individual or company commissions us to organise a special event - capitalising on the enduring appeal of classic cars - they will have particular objectives in mind. It might be a way of thanking existing clients or helping to convert prospects into new ones; fostering teamwork between key employees; or simply celebrating an important milestone with friends. You can be assured we will work with you closely to design an occasion that fully meets your needs in terms of scope, duration and budget. Our approach is truly bespoke, although the sample itineraries later on give a feel for what we have to offer.

Conceiving is one thing, delivering another - having organised well over a hundred competitive car events, HERO is well versed in all aspects of putting on a successful event. This includes all car related elements, including a ‘fleet of Arrive and Drive cars’; the ability to combine cars with other activities; selecting scenic routes and compelling backdrops; and, of course, making sure that accommodation, food, and the social side are just right.

One Day Event

The Manor Hotel at Weston-on-the-Green, Oxfordshire

Day 1

The base for the day is a splendid manor house hotel, dating from the early 16th century. The cars will follow a route designed to give guests an overview of the county of Oxfordshire, famed for the Cotswolds and the Chiltern Hills. Breakfast is taken in the Baronial Hall of the hotel. During the morning, guests follow the roadbook, with a coffee stop at a Cotswolds gin distillery where drivers can swap cars. Lunch is taken in an old country pub. Guests then continue to follow the road book, arriving back at the hotel in time for afternoon tea along with an official event debrief.

Two Day Event

The Goodwood Hotel, West Sussex

Day 1

The route for the day allows guests to explore the county of West Sussex, which includes the world famous Goodwood estate. The group will be staying at a hotel located in the heart of this estate. A round of golf is available for guests upon request. Included is a visit to the Rolls Royce factory. Some free time gives guests the chance to visit the hotel spa or just relax. The evening sees happy hour followed by dinner.

Day 2

The route begins at the Richmond Arms, from where guests follow the roadbook to their next activity, clay pigeon shooting. After lunch in a country pub, there is an opportunity for guests to swap cars, driving back to the Goodwood estate through scenic landscapes. Mid-afternoon there is the unforgettable experience of driving the Goodwood racetrack. The day culminates with afternoon tea and the official event debrief.

Three Day Event

South West England, Cornwall, Devon and Somerset

Day 1

The route is designed to give guests an overview of the county of Cornwall, famed for its wild moorlands and varied coastline. Time permitting, they will visit Land’s End, the most southwesterly point in the UK and the start line for the hardest classic car event in Europe - HERO’s Le Jog Classic Reliability Trial.

Day 2

The route will pass across Bodmin Moor before heading north to Devon. Devon has a mild climate and is a popular holiday destination, with visitors drawn to its coastal resorts and expanses of moorland. Time will be set aside in the afternoon to experience Wiscombe Park Hillclimb before crossing into Somerset for a night halt close to the county town of Taunton.

Day 3

The day starts by heading north west over Exmoor before a coffee stop near the coast. This is followed by a drive through the Quantock Hills, before dropping down on to the Somerset levels for the run into lunch.
