18 May 2018

We are very pleased to welcome E. Gutzwiller & Cie, Banquiers as a new HERO official partner.
Between now and 2020, they will support Classic Marathon 2018, London to Lisbon 2019, and Classic Marathon 2020.

E. Gutzwiller & Cie

A perfect fit

E. Gutzwiller & Cie, Banquiers ‎is a venerable private bank, founded in Basel in 1866, owned and managed by the fourth generation of the Gutzwiller family and their partners. As owners, managing partners invest their own capital and are personally liable for the bank’s obligations, ensuring that interests are aligned with clients and that risks are carefully managed. Gutzwiller feels strongly that this entrepreneurial model represents private banking as it should be. It was a founding member of the Swiss Private Bankers Association. Clients from around the world are looked after from offices in Basel, Geneva, and Zurich.
For more information, see www.gutzwiller.ch.

Gutzwiller has a number of individuals who are very active in the classic car scene. This is exemplified by Stephane Gutzwiller, one of the Bank’s four managing partners:

– For well over 10 years, he raced in the Classic Endurance Racing series, and was a regular at Le Mans Classic, driving a Chevron B16.

– He has taken part in numerous rallies, both competition and regularity, including Tour Auto, Classic Monte, and Mille Miglia.

– He was one of the founders of the Gstaad Automobile Club.

– He has even been involved in book projects, having co-authored with Roger Nathan ‘An Adventurous Life: The Costin-Nathan Story’; and was instrumental in the republishing of Jo Bonnier’s ‎autobiography ‘Fast, Faster! The Fastest?’.

Not surprisingly therefore we see Gutzwiller as a perfect fit with HERO, and are looking forward to working with them on two of our most prestigious rallies – starting with the forthcoming Classic Marathon 2018 in Greece.

Welcome E. Gutzwiller & Cie, Banquiers to the HERO family!
