As hardy as it is good looking, this vehicle was hired by Benno and Nina Britschgi in April 2015 to compete on the Icelandic Saga - it handled the gravel roads and sometimes icy conditions admirably.

AC Cars of Thames Ditton near London consulted the aristocratic motoring enthusiast, the Duke of Richmond and Gordon, Freddie March, for its new 16/80 sports model, which was launched in 1935.

The 16/80 has a 2-litre, 6-cylinder, 80 horsepower engine and was very successful in prewar rallies and trials as well as on British circuits like Donnington and Brooklands.
