Retro Classic Tour:

Join us on Saturday 25th February for the Retro Classic Tour

It’s Back! Following the success for the first Retro Classic Tour in 2016 we are delighted to announce that the Tour will once again run on Saturday 25th February 2017

Scrutineering will take place on the Apron outside the main entrance to the show and cars will be parked ‘on display’ for the public to view prior to the start of the Tour.  The route will be approximately 120/140 miles, on an all asphalt route, taking in the great scenic driving roads towards Oxford and surrounding area. The first car is due to leave around 10am and return after 3pm.

Space is limited with just 60 places so don’t delay in submitting your entry.

The Entry Fee is £175. Book by 16th January to benefit from the Early Bird Rate of £160! (Subject to space)

HERO Introductory Training

We will be running our popular Training session on Sunday 26th February at the Race Retro show. The Training session is aimed at both drivers and Navigators and a must for anyone considering entering a regularity rally.

The HERO Training Day Ideal for those that are thinking of entering or have already entered either their first event, have done a few and now need to understand what it is all about and those that have not competed for a while. Whilst the navigators learn the basics the drivers are shown how best to prepare their car. This course is essential for anyone attempting Classic Rallying as well as tackling Endurance events such as Le Jog.

Navigators:

Learn how to:

                      • Follow the right route
                      • Plot on a map
                      • Understand the timing
                      • Look out for clues in route instructions
                      • Use trip meter
                      • Prepare your side of the car – plus much, much more.

One simple tip picked up on this course could transform your rallying, all delegates are given handouts – detailed notes that they can refer back to.

                        • What you need to do to the car and have in the car to pass scrutineering?
                        • Best practice for car preparation for reliability and safety
